Project Request: Simple Implementation
- Request: Ashoka has implemented NetSuite at headquarters. Local staff needs support in starting to use NetSuite within their subsidiary, supported by SuiteVolunteers and a team from Ashoka headquarters in Washington DC.
- Expectation: Volunteer will provide coaching to local staff as they begin to use their NetSuite subsidiary within Ashoka's global implementation. Volunteer will help local staff understand the project roll out, the system and what tasks they need to complete for the local subsidiary to be up and running with NetSuite.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
In Scope
NetSuite Volunteers to guide Ashoka Innovators for Public India with import and record creation of the following:
- Donors
- Grantees
- Transactions (Bills, Bill Payments, Invoice, Customer Payments, Journal Entries)
NetSuite Volunteers will advise users when they need to contact NetSuite Support for questions related to Chart of Accounts.
NetSuite Volunteers will help users in identifying additional permissions that need to be added to their custom role (Ashoka Accountant – India).
NetSuite Volunteers will guide users in learning how Calendar Activities will help them in scheduling/tracking meetings, interviews, phone calls and tasks related to Donors, Grantees and Employees.
NetSuite Volunteers will briefly educate users in using SuiteAnswers and in submitting case for questions to Support.
A training manual/document will be created with screen shots for users to use as a quick reference guide in the future.
Out of Scope
India specific taxes and accounting requirements.
Users will go through the Chart or Accounts to assess what would require them to either integrate Tally Accounting Software to NetSuite or replace it altogether.
Financial reporting customization.
Completion Criteria
The project is complete once the following objective have been achieved:
Donors, Grantees and Transactions are already in NetSuite
All permissions needed by users to perform their tasks are already set in the custom role.
Users are already familiar in creating calendar events.
Users already know how to access SuiteAnswers and how to submit case to support.
