  1. Household Relationships

    • Use the SubCustomers functionality
    • Use this for transactional hierarch
    • How to create a household relationship record in NetSuite (e.g. Doe household):
      1. Create a record for Doe household
        1. Name = Doe Household
      2. Create a record for John Doe (husband)
        1. Name = John Doe
        2. Parent Company = Doe Household
      3. Create a record for Jane Doe (wife)
        1. Name = Jane Doe
        2. Parent Company = Doe Household

  2. Contact tab

    • Driving piece is for reporting requirement
    • Customer (Donor) record > Relationships > Contacts

  3. Custom Record (if SuiteDonor bundle is installed)

    • Create arbitrary relationship between records

    • Always track the relationship in NFP
    • Customer (Donor) record > Relationships > Relationship (Source) and Relationship (Target)
