Recurring Donation

In most cases, a nonprofit requirement for billing is straightforward. So far, there are 2 identified use cases:

1) Recurring donation/pledges that will be charged against the donor’s credit card, end date not specified – end date is when the donor calls or emails and requests to stop her donation 2) Recurring donation/pledges that will be charged against the donor’s credit card, end date is specified – this is usually based on a binding contract between the NFP Organization and the donor.

For the first use case, memorized transactions (Cash Sale or Invoice) work. The only problem with memorized transactions is that reporting would be limited.

For the 2nd use case, a regular billing schedule would work.
